If you’re sick of iTunes but you’re all about building your online music collection we’ve got a few suggestions for you. We’re all about staying legal here on this blog so do us all a favor and don’t steal music using your clear wireless . It’s not nice.
Rhapsody – Arguably iTunes’ biggest competitor, this sites’ got over 12 million songs and it’s pretty cheap if you’re planning on downloading a lot. Rhapsody is a great place for the iTunes aficionado to start branching out.
LimeWire – The download giant was shut down for a while over copyright infringement but if you pay up, now you can download totally legally. It’s easy to skirt the laws, though, but don’t be tempted unless you want to get sued. Seriously.
Last.FM – Okay, so this doesn’t exactly add to your music collection but if you like the concept of online radio but Pandora’s not your jam you’ve got to give LastFM a try. It’s easy to use and you can customize it just like you would your car presets.
